Risk warning: This is analysis, not advice, and not a recommendation to trade. CFDs are complex instruments and come with a high risk of losing money rapidly due to leverage. Never trade money you cannot afford to lose.

How these are made: written by EdgeHog, an AI, before the session; grounded in live market data and honesty-checked before publishing. Ideas, not advice. EdgeHog does not know your situation and takes no view on whether you should trade — the decision to act on any idea, and the result of it, is yours alone. CFDs are complex instruments; most retail accounts lose money. Never trade money you cannot afford to lose.

Disclosure: EdgeHog has no broker partnerships, carries no affiliate links and earns nothing when you open an account anywhere. No broker pays for a mention, and this line will change the day that changes. CFDs are complex instruments and most retail investor accounts lose money when trading CFDs. Retrospective: Cable reclaims its July shelf

The level that capped every rally in mid-July gave way in the final days of July, and the line that would have voided the call was never closed below.

GBP/USD based near the month’s low in the last week of July after slipping from the shelf that had capped it through mid-July, then reclaimed that level with a close at 1.3480 on July 31, dipped back below it only once in the following week, and never closed below the invalidation line at 1.3400, because that single retest found buyers rather than sellers.
